1. What are serviced apartments and how are they better than a hotel?
Ans: A Serviced apartment is usually a complete self-catered unit that is fully furnished with Bedrooms, Kitchen and/or a Living Room with dining area. They are much larger than the typical rooms in hotels and have a home-like decor.
The kitchens are usually fully loaded with cutlery, crockery, microwave, refrigerator etc, making it possible to cook basic to complete meals. They would also have Washing Machines with Dryers, Iron with Ironing Board, Internet (Wi-Fi), landline direct dial Telephone and Sky TV connections.
Some of them can also offer additional facilities of Gyms, swimming pools and sports areas for use of guests.
2. How can I make an apartment booking?
Ans: Please fill the Enquiry Form available at https://www.servicedapartmentsindelhi.com/booking.html. You can also call us to assist with your booking. Upon receiving your enquiry, we will provide you a quote for your apartment along with the apartment information as well as details on how to make payments.
Bookings are confirmed only after we receive deposit payments at our end. Booking Confirmation emails are sent usually within 24 hours of receiving payments.
3. How much will I need to pay for making my apartment booking?
Ans: The amount of deposit required to confirm a booking depends upon various factors including duration of stay and total apartment rental billed to you. When you inquire about an apartment, we will advise you on the exact amount of deposit required in your scenario. This payment can be made through various modes like Debit & Credit Cards, Cash deposit, Bank Transfers, Cheques drawn on Indian bank accounts and Paypal.
4. How do I Check-In and Check-Out of my apartment?
Ans. We will ask you to provide us your approximate arrival time at the apartment. An Apartment Manager will be available at that time in your apartment to welcome you and facilitate the check-in process. The Apartment Manager will also schedule the timings for your handover at check-out from the apartment where he will again be available for the check-out process.
Our Check-in Time is 3pm
Our Check-out Time is 11am
We can be flexible with these timings if there is availability at that property.
TIP – If you are arriving very early in the morning, we earnestly recommend that you make your bookings from the previous date so that you can move directly to your apartment upon arrival.
5. What are the inclusions in the rentals?
Ans. Your Apartment Rentals will typically include daily/bi-weekly housekeeping, bi-weekly linen changes, Cooking Gas, Water, Tata Sky TV, Wi-Fi Internet, optional Landline Phone (Chargeable Calls), Power Backup and all property maintenance. All our apartments come with complete furnishings and are quipped with all crockery and cooking utensils to cater our guests. Unless explicitly stated in your booking, Electricity is charged separately on actual usage.
* Serviced Apartment Rentals exclude Service Tax of 14% but it is ONLY applicable on stays of less than 3 months.
6. Do you require security deposits for your apartments?
Ans: Some apartments do require security deposits, especially if they don’t have a manned reception area. Security Deposits can be paid in cash or via Credit Card holds, that are returned/removed when you check out of the apartments. At check out, if there are any damages or unpaid bills, they may be deducted from this security deposit.
7. Do you ask for entire rental payments at check-in?
Ans. For short stays of less than a fortnight, we ask for complete payments at check-in. For longer stays, we will advise you on a convenient payment schedule accordingly.
8. What is the minimum stay duration in your apartments?
Ans: We have a 3 Night minimum booking requirement in almost all of our apartments, some apartments may have longer stay requirements and the same will be informed to you before you make your bookings.
9. What is your Cancellation Policy?
Ans: The Cancellation Policy is pretty simple –
a) For your cancellations more than 15 days before check-in date – We deduct 25% from your booking deposit as cancellation charges.
b) For your cancellations between 7-15 days before check-in date – We deduct 50% of your booking deposit as cancellation charges.
c) For your cancellations before 7 days from check-in date or NO SHOWS – We will give NO refunds of booking deposit.
Early checkouts are usually not entitled for refunds but we may take exceptional circumstances into considerations if you require to vacate earlier than your scheduled check out date. However, it is always advisable to take out travel insurance for covering any emergencies.
10. How can I extend my booking?
Ans: We will be happy to extend your bookings, however it is subject to that apartment’s availability.
11. Do you have occupancy limits in your apartments?
Ans: All apartments have occupancy limits that will be informed to you at the time of your bookings. If you have more guests, you can request Extra beds on chargeable basis.
12. What about Pets and wheel-chair access to apartments?
Ans: We do allow pets at some apartments. Also, quite a few apartments have lift access. Please do confirm both conditions with the Reservations Team before making your bookings.
13. Do you provide Emergency Support Services?
Ans: Upon arrival, we will provide you a emergency helpline number that is operational 24*7. Our team is always available to assist with any issues during your stay.
